Can I extend my India E-Visa while in the country?
No, the India E-Visa cannot be extended or converted to any other visa type while in India. If you need to stay longer, you must depart before your visa expires.
Is the India E-Visa valid for multiple entries?
The 30-day e-Tourist visa allows double entry. The 1-year and 5-year e-Tourist visas allow multiple entries. Each continuous stay must not exceed 90 days (180 days for citizens of certain countries).
What medical conditions require an e-Medical Visa?
The e-Medical visa covers serious medical treatments, surgeries, organ transplants, and specialized healthcare procedures at recognized Indian hospitals. Up to two attendants can also apply for e-Medical Attendant visas.
